Asko Hilke had been training tirelessly for months to prepare for the triathlon and managed to finish the race despite the extreme weather conditions and challenging course.   Asko Hilke saw the Lanzarote Triathlon as both a personal challenge and an opportunity to raise awareness for a charity that he supports. He dedicated months of intense training leading up to the race, waking up at 5am every day to fit in a workout before heading to the office.
